Our Story

Welcome to El Dorado Engraving, where tradition meets innovation. As you may know, my husband and I are continuing the work that my grandparents started, and I’m proud to carry on their passion for creating custom, hand-sandblasted stones.

In the time since their retirement, we’ve made some updates to ensure the same quality craftsmanship while offering a few exciting new options. After much research, we’ve partnered with a new stone supplier known for mining high quality slate. This slate is exceptionally durable and heavy, meaning it’s built to last and won’t chip or break off in sheets - it does however take much longer to sandblast as the stone is much more dense. We’ve also expanded our selection to include natural sandstone, along with beautiful gold and silver engraving finishes on our slate stones for a touch of elegance.

​We are committed to quality over quantity, and while we aim to ship orders as quickly as possible, please allow up to three weeks for us to create and process your stones. It’s rare that orders will take that long, but with a toddler and another on the way, we want to ensure we have the flexibility needed to balance family and work.
